South Texas Road Company History
South Texas Road Company is proudly owned and operated by Clayton Walker in Aransas Pass, Texas. Before realizing his dream of running his own excavation and concrete business, Clayton spent fifteen years mastering the crafts that would become the foundation of his career. Born and raised in the Texas Hill Country towns of Liberty Hill and Wimberley, Clayton's journey into construction began at the age of fifteen. He quickly developed a passion for operating heavy equipment, a skill his father recognized and nurtured. Since then, he's lead several crews handling large and small excavation and concrete projects.
About a decade ago, Clayton moved his family to Aransas Pass for a dream job with a major excavation and concrete company. However, his ambition to start his own business never wavered. In 2020, that dream became a reality when Clayton founded South Texas Road Company, where he now combines his years of experience and deep-rooted passion to serve the community.
